Joseph W. Niegoski, director of educational services at APTA, is responsible for the learning, educational, and professional and workforce development needs of APTA members and staff.
Mr. Niegoski works closely with industry leaders and APTA members in the development, support, and rollout of APTA’s workforce development programs and initiatives. Most recently, supporting the leadership of APTA’s Human Resources Committee, along with fellow staff , Mr. Niegoski helped APTA deliver over twenty key programs and product deliverables from the first phase of a five-year national workforce development work plan.
He is program manager for a number of APTA’s industry professional development programs including: Leadership APTA; Mid Manager Magnification; and APTA’s most recent addition, the Early Career Program. Mr. Niegoski has spoken on the topic of workforce development at a number of national and local conferences and events. He is a member of the American Society of Association Executives, Society of Human Resource Management. He is a board member of the Southern California Regional Transit Training Consortium.
